Mystics Prayer Beads: Clare & Francis of Assisi
St. Clare and St. Francis knew one another, living at the same time in Assisi, Italy. Clare led the cloistered life. Francis was an austere Brother in nature. Francis famous writing - Brother Sun, Sister Moon is reflected in these prayer beads. We only know of Clare through her letters. Clare lived in Italy from 1195 to 1253. Francis lived from 1181 to 1226.
